The 92nd Appointed Meeting of the Philadelphia Presbytery of the Korean-American Presbyterian
Church was held as follows:

Chapter 1: Opening Worship and Communion (개회 예배 및 성찬식)
At 10:00 AM, after the Moderator of the Presbytery, Rev. Woon Young Paek led the session in
singing Hymn 15, there was a Confession of Faith with the Apostle's Creed. And after Hymn 508
was sung, Rev. In Hyun Ryu prayed.
After Rev. Woon Young Paek read Luke 10:25-37, Rev. Haekeun Choi preached a sermon entitled,
"The Neighbor to One Who Fell Among Robbers." And after Hymn 438 was sung, the Holy
Communion was officiated by Rev. Taek Won Koh.
After Rev. David S. Park prayed, the officiant read Luke 22:15, 19-20, after which the sacraments
were administered by Elder Jung Jae Yoo and Elder Byung Do Byun. Afterwards, Rev. Taek Won Koh
gave the benediction to end the Opening Worship and Communion and it was 11:20 AM.
Chapter 2: Order of Meeting (회무 처리)
At 11:45AM after Hymn 314 was sung and after Rev. Deok Sang Chang's prayer, the meeting was
called to order by the moderator, Rev. Woon Young Paek.

2. Call to Order (개회 선언)
The Clerk read the roll call. There were 25 pastors and 4 elders, with a grand total of 29 members
in attendance to make the quorum; therefore, the 92nd Presbytery meeting was called to order.
3. Report of the Docket (절차 보고)
The clerk gave a report of the docket, and it was accepted.
4. Report of the Clerk (서기 보고)
The clerk presented the report and it was decided to undergo revisions before receiving it.

5. Audit Report (감사 보고)
The audit report was presented.
6. Report of the Treasurer's Account (회계 보고)
The treasurer's report was presented and it was accepted.
7. Appointment of the Announcer and Inspector of Attendance (광고 출석 위원 선정)
Rev. Kyung Chang Oh was appointed as Announcer and Rev. Subyoung Lim was appointed as
Inspector of Attendance.
8. Committee Reports (Governing Committees, Standing Committees, Regional Committees) (각 부 보고)
1) Formation and Agenda of the Steering Committee report is presented. It is accepted as
follows:
(1) The petition for transfer of denomination by Rev. SungHyun Ju is appointed to the Steering
Committee.
(2) It has agreed upon, that the 9 pastors and 3 members, (Rev. Yong Ki Hwang, Rev. Yun Kang,
Rev. Sungman Chung) who were dismissed due to long term absence will be reinstated pending
explanation.
(3) The petition for election of 3 elders by Senior Pastor, Rev. Paul W. Kim, of Bucks County
Presbyterian Church, was accepted.
(4) The petition for election of 2 elders by Senior Pastor, Rev. Haekeun Choi, of Montgomery
Presbyterian Church, was accepted.
(5) The disqualification of the membership of Mexico Grace Church
Adjournment of Meeting (정회)
At, 12:30PM, Rev. Byeong Eun Lee prayed and it was agreed to adjourn the meeting for lunch.
Recommencement of Meeting (속회)
The meeting resumed at 1:26PM following the singing of Hymn 400 and a prayer by Rev. Wang Gyu
Chae.
2) The Western Regional Committee report is distributed as printed materials.
3) The Eastern Regional Committee report is distributed as printed materials.
9. Agenda on the Docket (안건 토의)
1) Training for elected candidates will be conducted for 6 months from election to appointment.
The presbytery instructions and examinations are to be conducted during the 6 month timeframe.
2) The Moderator, along with Rev. Seung Cheol Kim, Rev. Sang Chul Yoon, and Rev. Haekeun
Choi, will form a temporary Aid Assistance Committee. They will present a detail plan and budget
proposal, which involves presbytery funds.
10. Location of Forthcoming Presbytery Meeting (내회 장소 선정)
The venue is set for the second week of March of the following year, (March 15, 2022) at Trinity
Presbyterian Church.
11. Adoption of the Meeting Minutes (회의록 채택)
To be accepted upon revision.
After the members sang Hymn 425, Rev. Paul W. Kim prayed. The Moderator, Rev. Woon Young
Paek read and preached from Habakkuk 2:14. He then pronounced the benediction and concluded the
meeting. It was 2:34PM.
